The first print run is being prepared

Printed inserts for A4 and A5 binders

Clear pages for the people who run the work.

Nine packs

Tell us which you want first.

Each pack is a whole system, not a pile of forms. We will print the most-requested packs first, so your vote counts. Choose as many as you like when you join the waitlist.

What is in a pack

Everything you need to start on Monday.

01

Tabbed dividers

Each divider says what is behind the tab and when to use it, with a reference card on the reverse.

02

Quick-start and worked example

One sheet to set up from, and a made-up example showing how the sheets connect from start to finish.

03

A plain-English guide

Pages on how to use the pack, what to write, and what to do when it isn't working.

04

A starter set, then refills

A few of every sheet, so you can start straight away. The ones you use up are sold separately as refills, so you only reorder what you need.

Why write it down

Written down on the day, it's there when you need it.

Most teams already have systems. These pages are for the moments those systems don't reach: at the vehicle, on the shop floor, in the kitchen, on a site walk, in a one-to-one.

01

It helps you remember

Writing something down helps it stick, and means you no longer have to hold it in your head. Ask anyone what they did last Tuesday, then compare it with the page.

02

A note made at the time

A record made on the day is more reliable than a memory a week later, whether the question is "was it checked?" or "what did we agree?".

03

You understand the process

A whole page shows what is asked, why, and what happens with the answer. That's different from filling in fields in an app without knowing how they will be used. One owner and one date for every action stops problems drifting.

04

Shared and visible

A page in the binder or on the wall is seen by the whole team. A note in one person's inbox isn't.

05

Handovers survive

Said out loud, then written, so the next shift doesn't depend on who was there or who remembers.

06

No login, no battery

It works at the vehicle, in the kitchen and on a site walk. Nobody needs a password, a signal or a charger.

On sticky notes and in a notepad?

Sticky notes lose their stick and get lost. A notepad gets buried under the next one. Actions slip between the two and nobody can see them all. The pages give you somewhere to jot things as fast as a sticky note, then move each one to a log with an owner and a date.

Use them alongside your systems, not instead of them. Software helps you move faster once you understand the work. The page helps you understand it.

These are blank record sheets designed by Clare Langley. They are independent and are not published, endorsed or approved by any regulator, standards body or certification body. Using them does not make an organisation compliant with any law or standard. You decide what to record, how long to keep it and how to store it securely. Check current guidance for your own setting.

Questions people ask

Quick answers.

What are pre-punched binder inserts?

Sheets that are already hole-punched, so you can drop them into a standard A4 four-ring or A5 six-ring binder. You can add pages, take them out and re-order them, and replace the ones you use up. Ours are double-sided, with tabbed dividers to keep them organised.

What's in a starter pack?

A few of every sheet in the pack, tabbed dividers for each part, a quick-start page with a worked example, and a plain-English guide on how to use it. The sheets people use up fastest are marked as refills, so you can reorder just those.

Do I need an app or a login?

No. They're printed pages. You write on them with a pen, and there's nothing to install or log into. That's the point: they work in the kitchen, at the vehicle or on a site walk, where a screen often doesn't.

Are these A4 or A5?

Both. The packs are made for A4 four-ring binders and A5 six-ring binders. The pages shown on this site are the A4 designs, and you can tell us on the waitlist which size you'd want.

Who designs the sheets?

Clare Langley, a service transformation and customer experience leader with about twenty years of improving how businesses work. The sheets come from the same idea as her consulting work: understand the problem before designing the fix, and make records something people can act on. More about Clare.

Are these legal or compliance forms?

No. They're independent record sheets. They aren't published, endorsed or approved by any regulator, standards body or certification body, and using them doesn't make an organisation compliant with any law or standard. You decide what to record and how to keep it.
